Durango Winter Pride started in January 2017 at Purgatory Resort north of Durango. The Festival has seen performances by “Latrice Royale” from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 4/All Stars 4 and “Kalorie Karbdashian Williams” from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 10.
In 2020, the Fresh Powder: Drag Hour and the Let it Snow: Talent Show & Dance moved to Downtown Durango. There is still a celebration at the mountain with discounts on lodging and lift tickets sprinkled with myxers and socials throughout the weekend.
