In celebration and in memory of the many lives lost to AIDS, 4cGLAD is honored to be able to share panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt with our community. The largest piece of community folk art in the world, twelve panels from the 54-ton quilt are on display at the Durango Public Library, 1900 E. 3rd Ave., Durango, CO 81301, from Wednesday, September 18 through Sunday, September 22, 2013.
Hours for viewing the display are as follows:
Wed: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Thu: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm
Fri-Sat: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Sun: 12 noon – 4:00 pm
4cGLAD hopes to continue to bring panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt to be displayed during the week of the annual Durango AIDS Benefit, which is held each year in the fall.
